iStocking

Don't know how many of you have heard of "iStocking" or "Stocking". It is where you recreate a photo from istockphoto.com.

It looks something like this:


I thought it would fun to create a game/competition out of it. Who's in? Here's what you have to do:

1)Go to the "Browse" section (of the 365 website) and then select the "By Tag" link. Close your eyes and randomly click on a tag.

2)Go to istockphoto.com and enter the tagged word you got into the area that ask for a keyword (along the top of the page).

3)Choose 1 of the first 10 photos to recreate.

4) Post YOUR photo on 365 with a link to the original photo and make sure to tag the photo iStock-challenge

Challenge is from Wednesday, June 20th until Wednesday, June 27th (Midnight GMT)

Challenge extended through July 11th (Midnight GMT)

2 to 5 finalist will be chosen (depending on the amount of entries) and revealed no later than July 20th.

And remember, you MUST add a link to the original photo in your description.

@annaruth I got my photo for this...but am not at home...I will be later so I will edit and post it for this challenge....I hope I make the deadline ...I need to look up what time here for me is midnight GMT. I hope. Get it in...my niece and I worked for quite a while this morning to hit the right angles to match my I stock photo! :0). This was a fun theme/competition!

@annaruth Hey...I just followed the tag and there are no photos....did no one ever get their photos posted for this? That is too bad....I thought it was a fun idea...I guess people get busy. I am still going to post my shot for this anyway. Or maybe the link is not the one I am supposed to be following or not working...
