As always, I've done my darnedest to make the corrections, additions and deletions from last week, but if I have once again mucked something up, or you have not participated so far but want to get involved, then please post to this thread ONLY... please do NOT post to other threads, photo's etc...
Also, if you are paired up with someone who seems to have gone MIA, please let me know sooner rather than later (altho' give them a day or two - remember, not everyone visits the site daily) and i will see about getting you another partner pdq...
AND, if you know you will be away or won't have the time to participate, please let me know BEFORE the pairings are posted (generally on Saturday)... that way I can take you off the list and avoid the confusion and disappointment that ensues when part of a pair goes MIA (see note above)! Remember, it's always easy to get added back on the list for a following week :)

A Word About Repeat Partners
I use various approaches for randomizing the pairings, but there is no way i can guarantee that you won't at some point end up paired with the same person...
if anyone has any ideas on how to prevent this, i'd be happy to hear them... at the moment, the only thing i can think of is to compare each pairing to all the previous week's pairings... and while i love you guys lots, i don't love you quite that much ;D
anyhoo... so far managing the switcharoos hasn't been too awful so i am ok to keep doing that... but please be patient on this, 'k? :)

Get Pushed 12 Dates
This weeks's challenge runs from Monday October 8th thru to Sunday October 14th... please tag your photos get-pushed-12

the Guidelines
1. Find your partner from the list below.
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
4. You have until midnight next Sunday October 14th, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot tag it Get-Pushed-12, tag your challenger in the comments and write a short description about what the challenge was, what you found hard about it etc.
6. Maybe the challenger could then critique the photo as well
7. On Monday October 15th the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.
I'm out... I'm not sure I'm going to continue to pursue photography. Nikon seriously bummed me out (and my dealer, Kerrisdale Cameras, seriously screwed me). $2100 camera purchase shouldn't come with oil on the sensor.
Not sure if my push partner (@leanntakespix) is still around! She has not answered her last three pushes. She has only posted one shot for August and one shot for September! Perhaps you could please pair me with the next person looking for a partner. Thanks so much for taking on this thankless task of hosting the challenge, you deserve a medal!! :-)

It sounds fun, but I've never participated in a "get pushed" challenge by now. Could you please count me in next time? I don't know if it will be you again who pairs the people, but can you do something about it? Thanks :)
@cameronknowlton that really sucks... i'd say come on over to Canon, but i've seen a few complaints about them too :( do i need to find a partner for @cmc1200 ?

@northy Hi northy! i hate to be a P.I.A. but the person you paired me up with for week twelve seems to be M.I.A @bugik. her last post of a pic was on 10-01-2012 and i dont see that she completed her last get pushed challenge for ge-pushed-week 11...if i am wrong and she is just wanting to get involved again this week i am pleased to "Push" her but i really was looking foward to this challenge and if you have anyone eles that needs a pairing up please let me know..Thanks..i know this all cant be easy to keep up with and dont worry if you dont have anyone just keep me in mind for next week! :)

@northy This is a neat idea! Sounds like one of the better ways to spread out our margins. While I have the courage I'll ask if you would please count me in for next time. Just to clarify, both partners issue challenges, yes?

@northy - thanks for doing all of this! Please take me off the list for a bit - having trouble keeping my head above water with it right now. My challenge partner for this week seems to be mia anyway, so it shouldn't pose a problem.

@northy I'm going to be out of internet contact from now until Monday 15th evening, therefore I think it's better to put the challenge on hold for next week as it would be unfair for a partner to have to wait until Tuesday at earliest to get any contact with me. Please include me the following week i.e. w/b 21st Oct.
@northy I am requesting to be taken off the list for the next two weeks. I am going to be out of town for work and won't have much time to do a push challenge. Hi @northy Just before you release next weeks list can you take me off for the time being. I am really struggling to keep up with things at the moment! I'm sure I'll be back at some point, but I think I'm taking a total 365 break for a while! Thanks for organising this!
I know you already say it in the instructions, but next week could you reiterate that when posting a photo you need to tag the challenger in the comments section? I have had a few people tag me in their description so I never got a notification.
