I have a Nine year old called Ethan (the boy) who loves photography as much as me . He wants to start his own project on 365 so I chalenged him to create seven photos that I would will post for him.
We have enjoyed it so much this far that me and ethan would like you and your family to give it a go and show us your results.
We have now finished with Ethan's chalenge seven photos over seven days!! we had fun..:-)
My 7 year old grandson loves taking photos. Granny [me] bought him a cheapy camera last year for his birthday as he always wanted to handle my beloved DSLR ... he does under strict supervision, and whilst sat still :-)
I love this idea, and he is off to a great start ~ I would be proud to have taken these shots
@alisonp Cool Alison my son has an old hand me down and uses my dslr with superviision as well it does not matter what they use I just love the way he is able to find that innocent ...hey dad look what I took ..Big smile..mams nickers lol..Priceless!!
He's 9? I'm impressed. It will probably hold his attention as long as he isn't pressured into posting or taking a picture everyday. It's Ok to have open spaces. He may just want to post days that stand out to him.
@dmortega I Agree I will just open an album for him within my account then he does not have the stress off take'ing a photo every day..I have posted some of his pics allready and he was showered with great coments from my followers bless them :-) a great bunch!! When I go walkabout he comes with me, we call it boy time I work 12 hour shifts so any time spent with him is good...
What a great way to spend time together! I know from experience how exciting it can be to share something like photography with a dad, taking pictures together, looking at them and discussing them and, when old enough, getting a first SLR (I thought it was one of the best birthday presents ever, although completely broken I still keep it in my 'memory corner'). Lovely to see that more people do that with their (grand) kids.
As for Ethan, this already looks promising, I would love to see more of what he does!

Today dad showed me how to use the tripod and how to focas manualy
it took a few shots but we eventualy managed to get a good one..
