As the lucky winner of the last mundane abstract challenge, I am delighted to host this one.
Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to De, @degarvey , for hosting the last competition.
Also a big congratulations to Muriel, @pum71 , for winning the Mundane Challenge - Coin, who has picked ball point pen as the subject for this challenge.
The Abstract Mundane Challenge runs parallel with the Mundane Challenge, using the same object as chosen by the host of the Mundane Challenge. However, there is a distinct difference between the two. For the Mundane Challenge, the object must clearly be “the star” of the photo and recognizable. For the ABSTRACT Mundane Challenge, the object should not be immediately recognizable - it should be far more abstract.
The ball point pen was chosen for the Mundane Challenge, so that is the object we will be using as well. You have from now til Friday 14th to take photos and post entries. On Sunday, I will post the finalists for voting.
Please TAG them abstract-pen and feel free to include them in this thread.
The winner of the challenge will be the next host.
