Thank you Laetitia @laetitiapetrussa, for hosting the previous challenge, you rock! A big shout-out to the people who supported me, and the people who participated in the last event.
Hello my name is Deyvid, and I will be hosting EOTB33. Ha!
Some of you may be wondering, what is an EOTB? Well as far as I know, it stands for "Eye of the Beholder", and it is an ongoing challenge here in 365, started by Jeff Walker. The object of the game is to capture, and find BEAUTY in something that many people would consider NOT beautiful, NOT appealing, boring, or plain.
How to get started:
First, you will need to find an object or objects that are the OPPOSITE of beautiful.
Then, using your knowledge in lighting and composition, try to come up with a way that will make your object or objects look nice and beautiful.
Finally capture that scene, upload it, and tag it with "eotb33".
Who can participate? Photographers who are looking for a different, fun, and unordinary challenge. Yep ANYONE can join!
Why participate? Your lighting and composition skills will grow, as well as your creativeness. This challenge will also make you look at your surroundings in new and different perspectives.
The challenge will begin on Tuesday, May 20th and will end on Wednesday, May 28th midnight Central Time. All entries must be taken within this time frame.
Remember to tag your photos with "eotb33". On May 29th I will look at all the entries, and will select five photos that represented the challenge the most. Voting will start on May 30th and will end on June 3rd.
You are more than welcome to upload and post multiple entries, practice makes perfect. And feel free to copy and paste your awesome work to this thread.
The winner of this challenge will have the privilege to host EOTB34!
"Everything is potentially a beautiful photograph. It is not a matter of finding something to photograph, it is a matter of finding a way to photograph something that makes photographing it worthwhile."
-- Jeff Walker.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." -- Jeff Walker.
Here are some cool examples done by past participants.
Good luck everyone with the challenge!
