We are officially into summer or winter, depending on your hemisphere. The year is half over now, and once again, it is time to nominate words for our coming month, July.
As always it could not be easier…
Simply nominate your word to this forum post and it may be included. You can nominate as many words as you like and if you see a word you like, just add it again... (The more times a word is mentioned, the greater the chance it will be used). I will then count up the number of times that a word has been added and the top 30 will be our list for the jul14words.
Please make your suggestions for “Just-4-July” between now (6/21) and 12 a.m. Sunday, June 29th, for them to be included. As always, if you have a word that you would like to see on a particular day, please nominate which day as well, for example: 25th Needle (for Thread the Needle Day) or 13th Paradise (for Fool’s Paradise Day).
There are seven bonus words for July and these will be; Birthday, Anniversary, Cancer, Leo (star signs) as well as Ruby (birthstone) and Larkspur (birth flower), so you do not need to ‘suggest’ those.
I like paradise, fireworks and drama and I'd like to add vacation for the 7th (that's when mine starts) and football/soocer for the 13th (World Cup final)

@anne_k Sorry to hear about your loss. I think it is wonderful that you are memorializing your friend this way. I haven't gotten very far with the list, yet, but I feel you should do as you have planned, regardless of the turn out of the list. I'm sure your photos will be bitter/sweet. Take care.
