Hey everyone! I am so honored to be able to host this week's tag challenge! This is my very first time hosting a challenge so bear with me as I figure it all out! Thank you so much to those of you who voted for me! I know it was a difficult decision as there were so many fantastic entries! I look forward to looking through this week's photos so let's get started!
Here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Go to the "Browse" section and then select the "By Tag" link. Close your eyes and randomly click on a tag.
Step 2: Do it again (and no peeking)! These two tags are now your photo assignment. You will then use your two randomly chosen tags as an inspiration to create one picture that encompasses both tags...for an added challenge try three tags!
Please CLEARLY state your two tags when you post your entries, as this will let me know what your assignment was. You may submit more than one entry (using the same two tags).
**For this challenge, if you chose a set of words that you feel it would be impossible to do anything with, rather than skip the challenge all together, you may opt for the host’s tag words of "pet" and "reflection" or for those of you doing the three tag try "family, day, and black and white" (selected randomly as above).
** Since the three tag challenge fizzled out sometime ago, we are continuing to combine the two for those who still wanted to participate at the three tag level. They will all be included together for the final voting.
Start of challenge: Monday, July 7th, 2014
End of challenge: Monday, July 14th, 2014
Voting starts: Tuesday, July 15th, 2014
Winner announced: Saturday, July 19th, 2014
**NOTE - Photos must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered for a vote.
The number of finalists will be chosen depending on number of entries. The winner will get the opportunity to host challenge #102
Please remember to tag all entries as tag-challenge-101 so that I can find them.
Please share them in this thread (optional) so everyone else can enjoy them too.
@320days Well done. One more thing, in the middle you can also change the random host tags, which people can use if they are not happy with what they got. Just press edit at top and you can change anything. :-)
@320days What I did to make sure that this thread stays on the top of the discussion list is to try to reply it everyone's comments, because each time you comment it puts it to the top :-)
@ikamera Haha! This cracks me up because of the movie Turbo! Have you ever seen it? Anyway, one of the snails names is White Shadow and he is hilarious!
@westerly45 Hi Susan, you tag the photo as: Tag-challenge-101 and in the description you also say which tags you got. You can also post them on this thread (optional) :-)
Thanks @melanierivers@320days Here is my photo for Grass and Bird. I got the easiest tags, I think. Although the "grass" interpretation here is a little liberal. ;-)
