Do you ever struggle with photo ideas for each day? If so, this is the challenge for you. Each day has a word assigned to it for you to use your imagination in capturing. Please feel free to join us, if you haven’t already. You can make it a challenge to get through the whole month, or come and go as you please.

Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 38 words in any order you like.
The tag for January will continue in the same format as before, First three letters of the month, the year and then ‘words’ (jan15words).

This is how I have compiled our list:
- First, I removed the words that were used in November and December.
- Then added the words left with dates associated to them, by the word with the most nominations.
- Words with the most nominations and without a date association were added randomly throughout the month.
The bonus words are: Birthday, Anniversary, Capricorn, Aquarius (star signs) as well as Garnet (birthstone) and Carnation and Snowdrop (birth flower) Here is the list for January:

@debrac hey Debra, I'm going to post a note for new members shortly to let them know about all the challenges and competitions. Could you begin your posts with word of the day? Newbies wouldn't know from Extraordinary-r-January that it is a word challenge / inspiration.
@bill_fe I was thinking about changing it to something like 2015:February Words...I am having a hard time coming up with creative titles. Anyway, I thought if I did it that way, if someone did a search, they would get the right year and month. Does that work for you?
Hi all, is there a way to find the 'tagged' photos without coming back to this message, I've tried going to tag under the Browse tab but it doesn't seem to take me to the photos. thanks. Lisa
@lisaisgoingtofrance Lisa, once you type in the search engine and click for the results, you then have to click on the "photos" tab that will come up on the left of your screen. The default is for "discussions", so it doesn't automatically search photos. Hope this helps.

You are all very welcome. I have some family things going on, so not sure how active I will be, once again, but will try. I already missed my 1st pic...and I was taking lots of photos yesterday, so how did I miss the clock (my suggestion, too). Oh well, I might fill it in today.
