I was honored to share the spotlight of the color contrast challenge (technique37) with @amyleewinfield! Thank you to everyone who participated and voted! Amy is busy with wedding season so I'm going to go ahead and post a new challenge for everyone to get started on.
Technique Challenge 38 is Diptych. A diptych is two photos paired and presented as one image. This could take many forms, here are some ideas to get started:
-Zoom in on a feature: one frame with the object far away and the other frame zoomed in on a feature
-Tell a story, show passing time
-Continuation of an object/idea/form
-Contrast/Comparison
There are many great examples here on Project365 if you search the tag diptych. The subject matter is completely open-ended. To create your final image use your favorite photo editing software to combine your photos. The photos can be side-by-side horizontally or vertically. They do not have to be the same size - you can play around with asymmetry in order to give one image more emphasis. Have fun!
The challenge starts Tuesday, February 17, and will run through Friday, February 27. Entries should be taken and uploaded within this timeframe.
Please tag your photos with technique38.
Constructive feedback is welcomed and encouraged. Posting your photo to this thread is encouraged, but not required.

I will do my best although I will be doing it the old fashioned way of placing 2 photographs together and re-photographing them as I am doing the Film February and I don't intend to use any processing until March.
Is there a link to somewhere we can see all the diptychs that people are creating? Entering technique38 on the tags page doesn't seem to work for me. Thanks in advance.
@pistache Once you type technique38 in the search box and hit enter, then look on the left side of your screen and click the "photos" option. This will bring you to the images as opposed to discussions or user names. There are about a dozen images posted so far. Hope that helps!

Keep them coming everyone! Less than a week to go!
Here I am again ...
