I retired in December of 2012 and want to learn how to use my digital SLR to take better photos. I began my 365 project in September of 2013. I have learned so much from the talented people I have encountered on this site. While not entirely faithful to the photo a day during the past 3 years, I feel a little lost without the goal. I plan to continue my project until it's no longer fun.

I started participating in the Get-Pushed Challenges in April. Here are my past photos for this challenge: http://365project.org/tags/randystreat-gp

This link is mostly for myself, but in case you're interested, these are photos of mine that made it to the popular page: https://alexisbirkill.com/365project/popularpage/getuserdetails.php?username=randystreat

With the new year, in 2018 I began participating in the 52-week challenge. Links to those photos can be found at http://365project.org/tags/52wkkac

2020. What a year it has been so far. Technically, September 22 I began my 8th year. I continue to try to take a photo everyday, but hate not to use some of the photos I take when I get a chance for multiple photo opportunities. Trying to learn a bit more about this craft and improve my skills, although not always evident.
