Toys on 365 - Fairy Tales!

February 23rd, 2015
Thank you, our fellow little things (Mr. P3 hates the word "toys" and we want to keep him happy, so...) for showing us your pets. We have big pets and small pets, live pets and well....un-live pets! :-)The one thing we have all in common, even with our human friends, is that we love and care for these pets the same way and they love us back (even if they're waaaayyy bigger than us). That's our story and we believe it!

Higgins, the photographer bear, has a best friend in Skye @salza

Our good friend Dave (Hi, Davey!) finally got the pet puppy he had asked from Santa last Christmas @espyetta

We have two new friends:
CJ the Legographer and his little pet kitty @cjphoto

and Hamlet loves to cuddle with his pet bear @sioux

A big THANK YOU to all our friends who played along with us. So, want to play some more?

Do you like fairy tales? You know, like dragons and princes and princesses and magicians and swords and wicked step sisters? Yes? Okay then, we'll play fairy tales this week! If you don't know, let's ask our human friends because they sure know a lot of those and see what your favorites are! But we're pretty sure you know some fairy tale stories yourself so show us your favorite fairy tale characters, or better yet, we can play dress up maybe? Or what's more awesome is if we can create our own new fairy tale! That would be a riot!

Show us, take a photo and tag it 365TOYS-FAIRYTALES.

Toodles!

Oh, nice, fairy tales. Will need to get my thinking cap on for this one.

So wonderful to see all the fabulous shots from everyone here. Sorry if I didn't get around to looking at all of them and commenting, it has been a very hectic week for me.

Hamlet was woken from a lovely dream by Teddy pulling him by the tail. Teddies fairy cousin Petunia had been fairy-napped by a dragon monster and was being held in its magic crystal apple jail. Hamlet had to rescue her.
He put on his red magic flying cape and told Teddy to wait for him; he would be back as soon as he could.
Out of the window he whisked, fur and tail and cape blowing wildly with the speed of his travels. Through the woods, past vast empty salt desert over the mountains covered in snow and ice till he reached the great and dangerous rock-falls where rocks not water fell endlessly over the cliff. Down, down he went, waiting for his chance to dodge quickly behind the rock-fall. There he saw Petunia, trapped, with the evil dragon monster wrapped around the crystal apple.
A million glittering crystals surrounded the Crystal apple, and tinkled with the movement of air as Hamlet flew into the cave, waking the dragon monster who roared and blew fire. Hamlet picked up another rock and threw it out through the rock-fall and the dragon leaped after it thinking the intruder had run out. But he mis-timed his leap and was crushed under the rock-fall.
Hamlet quickly picked up the Crystal Apple with Petunia in it and flew away to Pikkitty Witches cottage deep in the woods. Here Pikkitty magicked away the Crystal Apple and Petunia was free to fly home with Hamlet back to her cousin Teddy who was waiting for her.

I'll have to consult with the Dragons on this one. Maybe let them tell a dragon tale.
