We celebrated the Toasted Marshmallow's birthday all week last week and we learned some things about this wonderful treat. Cheap marshmallow burns fast and is not good for eating. Thank goodness there are other ways to eat marshmallows! As well, we learned there's a plant with a beautiful flower called 'marsh mallow'.
We liked that Danny and Bo did their toasting quite carefully and with all the forest fires we've been hearing, we're glad they're both safe @lyndemc
This week, we are celebrating the birthday of the "Trail Mix". Who'da known there's such a thing? Trail mix is also known in Germany and Austria as Studentenfutter; in Holland and Denmark as Studentenhaver; in New Zealad and also in Australia as scroggin or schmogle; and Yummy Treat in the toy parlance! :-P Oh, and it is also called Bwyd Dewey in Wales, according to Mr. Padraigh Penwyn.
But whatever it is called, celebrate it, we will! Why? Because we like food and we certainly love trail mix! Won't you join us in however fun way you can? And don't forget to take a photo and post it so we can all play and enjoy trail mix together! Let's tag our photos "365TOYS-TRAILMIX". It will be fun!!
