This fun challenge was started by Brigitte @brigitte and Nicole @nicolecampbell and is a great way for us to experience some of the greatest cities of the world through the images of our 365 community.
The last City competition saw John including Towns which I thought is a great way to enable lots more people to take part.
So, to continue this competition and to include Towns as well as Cities I introduce
January Town 2016
This will run every month with next month being February Town 2016 etc , etc
It may be a town or city which you live in or a place you have visited on holiday or just for the day.
If entering a famous city try and capture a different part, suburb , district or landmark to show it off with something new.
Your photographs must be taken during the month of January 2016, please add where it is as well.
January Town 2016 will run from January 1st through till January 20th.
After choosing the finalists I will leave the vote open for a few days.
The winner will get the opportunity to host the next months challenge.
I'm really looking forward to seeing loads of entries and remember your entries must have been taken during the dates given here.
Feel free to share them in this thread (optional) so others can enjoy them too and it would be great if you could include a link to this page in your write up incase others would like to take part ;)
Just to add , every time you wish to take part each month can include the same town/city as your previous months entry just spread your wings and capture a different part / view .
@jack4john Thanks John - Theres not a lot of interest in this so far, fingers crossed it will pick up now Christmas & New Year have passed. The weather certainly here in the U.K isn't helping. Hopefully this weekend it will see some more Photos added .
@rminkler Thanks - Yes its from an original competition asking for Photos of Cities, Last Month John introduced Towns into the mix which gives this a lot more scope for people to enter.

@zitas Yes, more the merrier - Towns , Cities, Islands , Ports , they are all where people live , its how the photograph looks which counts, and where it is don't forget to add that. Thanks for commenting .
