Thank you to Dyan Stevens @dyanstevens for hosting the last Abstract Mundane Challenge; to all of you who participated in it & of course to those who voted for my photo.
Now its time to get see how you measure up... rummage for your ruler. This is a great opportunity to see what you can do with this mundane object.
This Challenge has the same topic as the Mundane Challenge. The topic is chosen by the winner of the last Mundane Challenge which was won by Hope D Jennings (@mzzhope). She has chosen “RULER” for the new challenge, specifically the measuring kind. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruler
No double-dipping....your images for this Challenge MUST DIFFER from any image you submit to the regular Mundane Challenge. This is your chance to be even more imaginative in the use of the mundane item.. You are welcome to use any photographic techniques you would like to portray this mundane object in an abstract way.
You may enter as many photos on the subject as you'd like, but they need to be taken during the challenge time frame to be considered for the finals:
The competition begins today, March 8th, and will run through to March 18th at midnight EST. Voting will take place March 18th through March 19th at midnight EST.
The winner will be announced March 20th.
Sorry got my dates out:
