**NEW** - Abstract Challenge - TOWEL

May 10th, 2016
Firstly a very big thank you to @wag864 for hosting the abstract chocolate challenge and choosing me as a finalists. Thanks to all of you who participated in the challenge & of course to those who voted for my photo. Hopefully we will find a way to have plenty of fun with the next challenge (though this maybe difficult as there is no excuse for eating chocolate with this one!)

The Mundane Abstract Challenge has the same topic as the Mundane Challenge. The topic is chosen by the winner of the last Mundane Challenge. This last challenge was won by Hope D Jennings @mzzhope and she has chosen “TOWEL” (beach, dish, bath.....etc.) as the next challenge.

Your abstract image MUST DIFFER from any image you submit to the regular Mundane Challenge, so you cannot double tag your posts. You can be more imaginative in the use of the item for this abstract challenge. You are free and welcome to use any photographic technique you would like to portray this mundane object in an abstract way.

You may enter as many photos on the subject as you'd like, but they need to be taken during the challenge time frame to be considered for the finals.

Challenge timeline:
The competition begins today, May 10th, and will run through until midnight on Tuesday May 24th (GMT)
Voting will take place 25th May to midnight of the 27th.
I will announce the winner on Saturday 28th.

Please tag your entries: abstract-towel
You can see entries here: http://365project.org/tags/abstract-towel

Please feel free to post your entries on this thread, as it might help to inspire others to participate and keep the thread alive for future challenges.

The winner of the abstract portion of this challenge will host the next challenge after the regular mundane object has been chosen.

Here is a list of objects that have already been used: ice, toothbrush, screwdriver, veggie peeler, bar of soap, scissors, electric plug, paper clip, jar, language, cardboard, toothpick, hex key, hair comb, screw, button, key, coin, ballpoint pen, shoe, glass, plastic bag, thread, books, lightbulb, toilet paper, envelopes, door handle, tea bag, broom, tin can, egg(s), shoelaces, clothes peg/pin, wheel, mailbox, pill, bottle, chain, zipper, seed(s), vegetable(s), cutlery, playing cards, mobile phone, pasta, chair, camera, blanket, paper, rubber, tack, hanger, index finger, mouse (non furry), sock, bubbles, candles, bread, beds, tap (faucet), strainer, match, umbrella, paintbrush/es, corkscrew, stairs, mirror, rock, cup/mug, knob, buckle, rake, power pole, box, clock, nail, gears, hinge, wastepaper-basket, hammer, cheese grater, ruler, glasses, gates and chocolate.

Watery forms for this abstract challenge. I used a striped towel and ICM to simulate moving water. This was a tricky challenge. I'm really looking forward to participating in more of these and extending myself creatively.
