SWOL-9 Starts Today

November 27th, 2017
Let's do it again...

Thank you very much, Kathy, for running SWOL 8. Truly appreciative to all who took part in the last SWOL - shoot without looking - and those who took the time to vote! This is a wonderful and fun way to let your creativity flow.

The Shoot Without Looking challenge was started by Kathy Boyles @kathyboyles. She described it as follows: 'This is a fun challenge where luck followed by creativity produces your entry. The idea is to take a photo without looking through the lens of the camera, then produce something interesting from the result.'

The original shot (without looking) must be taken within the time frame of the challenge, but overlays and other material can come from any time. Cropping of the shot without looking is discouraged. Perfection is not the point. Interest and creativity is. You can enter as many times as you like.

Please label your entries: swol-9.

The Challenge starts today – the 27th of November and runs until 5pm GMT the 7th of December.

Shoot without looking street photography from the hip so to speak (sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't!) maybe taking photos by randomly waving the camera about with a longer shutter speed or as I did, I sat in a coffee shot with my camera just sitting on the table and took shoots at various intervals.

Feel free to post your images here to encourage others.
