ETSOOI 101 is setting off

August 30th, 2018
thank you all so much for voting for my image of an ancient car in the last round of ESTOOI - i was thrilled to win this challenge :) many thanks to all who participated, and voted, and to suzie @stownsend for hosting the last round

If you are new to the ETSOOI challenge, here’s the basics:
ETSOOI is an acronym started by MaryBeth @espyetta. It stands for EDITING THE SORRY - NESS OUT OF IT. This basically means processing and editing your image to create something different, in whichever way you like. It was meant to be a processing strategy to use when your "photo of the day" was boring as it was or for those who simply enjoy highly processing their photos. Use any and all editing programs that you like, the more the merrier! This is a very fun challenge where you can be as creative as you would like ...

THEME: Open – your choice of subject
START DATE: 30 august
END DATE: 14 september midnight bst
TAG: etsooi-101

You can use more than one program/app per image. You can enter as many images as you like but they must have been taken within the time frame of this challenge. After 14 September I will post a shortlist of finalists, and all you 365-ers will vote for the winner, who will host the next ETSOOI challenge.

Please, also post your entries here to encourage others and keep the thread active.

If you are new to editing/processing here are some great tools to use besides photoshop:

I love this challenge in particular because then I don't feel guilty for posting something where the original photo seems to be totally obliviated.

I did this for the Album Cover Challenge 96 but I edited the neck out of the original shot to get the effect I wanted. :-)
