Thanks to Sarah @sarahlth for starting the landscape challenge back in January 2018 and inspiring us to go out to capture the natural beauty around us. Also to Wendy @farmreporter for hosting the last round of the challenge, and to everyone who took part. I was thrilled to win what was obviously a very close-run race, especially since I find landscapes about the hardest subjects to shoot. So, without further ado, here is Landscape 12 ...
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture a landscape. You may enter as many times as you like, but your entry must be taken and posted within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist. The starting date will be today, 11 February, and will run until midnight GMT Monday 4 March. I will post a shortlist of finalists shortly thereafter. This gives you three weekends, if you work during the week, to go out and capture the beauty of the landscape.
Landscape photography shows spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic according to Wikipedia. While landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature, they can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes found in urban settings. So please consider entering this challenge whether you live in a vast city or in the expansive wilds.
