I have always been fascinated with pictures of lightbulbs, don't ask me why though. I have seen several other albums on here with photographs of them. I would like to see how you have interpreted this random object which is pretty much the same everywhere you go. I will post mine in a comment below!
@cally They totally are. I was trying to find "random" in my brain but I couldn't spit it out. Thanks for the cranial jump start. I adjusted my header now!
@katiegc24 very cool composition (even w/o greg in it!) @megc1 did you mirror the image or is that two? @minxymissk The silver stands out so well against the beautiful mural, great shot.
@shenay I agreed with you about the energy ones until I saw the photo a couple above this post! @sudweeks a couple of weeks ago I found a tutorial on how to get a shot like this and I have been wanting to try it out. It was on @jasonbarnette 's website/blog.
TO EVERYONE ELSE THAT HAS POSTED: I am glad to see that I am not alone! I have seen a few but I never thought there were this many lights/lightbulbs and some great shots. Keep em coming!
This is a halogen bulb behind a coloured plastic sheet. Basically it's the base of a fibre optic christmas tree. One day I'll take photos of a bulb. You have now made me want to shoot one today, lol.
(Lightbulbs aren't really my strong point because they aren't rubber ducks. Sorry.)
