You could always use the flashback facility on your own photos for a cover/photo. I remember this going round facebook the other year and was great fun. I'll def have a go.
I remember doing this on facebook but not with one of your own photos but one from flickr...I had this idea as well but was not sure on how to implement it without using others photos because some who just started may not have many photos
This idea is hysterical! Love it!
My band is Kfarmelki and my album title, which is really awesome, is:
If it outlasts milk! Let's see what I can do with that ;)...
@jdonnelly : If you tick more boxes and then press the "New random quotes" button, it works. @marinda : Man, this is addictive! I already got two more I'll post over the next few days. I'm having much more fun than my actual work would be... Surprise ;)!
Im thinking that a couple of these are way off on the criteria....well one specifically just curious to know/ understand where all of his text came from....
@jdonnelly Power Lift-off combines dark romance and virtuosic guitar skills
1. Everybody Lies
2. I am opposed to millionaires
3. We're having fun
4. Absence of humor
6. 30 people
7. Wisdom is what's left
8. Trivial reason
9. Mystery of government
I'm totally going to do this next week... I can't do it this week because it's an SOOC week for me.. But I can't wait to try it out! I already looked up my band and album name! I'm excited! :)
band name: Braden Scale for Predicting Pressure Ulcer Risk
Album name: cannot save the few who are rich.
!!! :D ...now what kind of pic will go with that?
I am new to this site, but I am going to give this thing a go as my whole project! Gonna get my topics every morning and make it my mission to find a picture I can use for it each day! Let's see how it works out!
I'm trying to comment individually on the ones I like best but it's hard to keep up! This has turned into one of those challenges where the gulf between me and those of you who actually know how to take good photos and use Photoshop is becoming all too obvious. Oh well. I bow to your superiority.
AWESOME COVER DESIGNS!! I am so going to do this challenge with my IT students at school next week, hopefully they will love it too, I really look forward to seeing what they come up with. Thanks for the idea @marinda
@interludephotos Absolutely not!!! great job! some are harder than others I really needed to think about my last one!! i did finally wrap my head around it though!!!
Got two days worth done :P Only 363 more like it! Kinda anxious to see tomorrow's project! I will refrain from posting every one I do on here, I will just tag and post some of my favs.
@marinda This is a great idea for a challenge and I've loved looking at what people have come up with! I'm hoping to get a chance to play. Thanks for starting the challenge. I'm really enjoying it!!

@marinda It was so much harder than it should have been haha. I couldn't think of something dark enough to go with the title. And thanks!! I may even do another one at some stage :-)
@amz87 Mine as well! I wanted to create a glowing effect with the bubble but that didn't go down too well so I used it as is. but I really do like your font choice. often times the wrong font can just ruin it, so well done on that too :)
@amz87 It looks so simple, but if only people knew that it took me hours!!! haha but I can honestly say Im happy with it. glad I struggled with it a bit. can sort of take more pride in it if I can express it that way.
Huge cheat from me here - but this is my *actual* album cover (gig for release on 26th May in Oxford at the Bullingdon Arms on Cowley Road). Haven't tagged it because it's not strictly in line with this thread but seemed like a good opportunity to 'out' it :)
Band: Hurling Championship
Album: You Don't Need Anything Else
When I read the album name, right away I thought of those traveling musicians. They live off of what they can get...that thought lead me to thinking of the classic "Hobo" with the stick and little cloth sack hanging off of it. I combined the the two and made the guitar the stick and sack...idk, my take on it
@marinda : It was nearly too much fun but really helped me to think out of the box and experiment a bit - thank you for that chance! Yeah, I loved that building as well, it's the Walhalla in Bavaria. I posted another shot of it today without any writing on it so that it can be appreciated on its own ;).
The band is BOMBA, a Polish decryption device from WWII. The full quote is 'An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered.' - G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936).
@marinda Thanks hun, they have been fun, but I am ready to move on! I am blown away at the response with this challenge!! we will have to give it a rest and have another go at it in a month or so!!
@jzac HAHAHA I think so. I've only done one so Im not as over it as I imagine you are LOL but the people are enjoying it immensely so I don't see why we need to stop?
@aviva there is a "share" option on every image that provides you with a html code that you can copy and paste. It's on the right hand side just below the tags.
I may do this type of theme from time to time< I know that I did not follow the rules to a T, but figured that I was doing as many as I was for the challenge and that I was the one who brought this Idea to the table that I could do as I felt......Cheers
Band - Yésero
Album - Nothing is Too Big to Attempt
Yésero, the alternative rock band, created in the late 90s, comes out with their latest album, including their hot new singles, "Carnival" and "Spinning Wheel."
Okay... I have not done one of these yet but I just hit the random on wikipedia and quotes and I got some AWESOME combos! I am definitely going to be putting some of these together!

My first entry: I was happy with how well the band name matches with the album title. I would say this band plays heavy metal. :)

Album: There's No Place Like Home
Found this around the house, and with a few edits it filled what I needed haha!
This is 'Comes with his freedom' by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab :)
The Wikipedia item I got was 'Dedessa' which is a kind of moth, or in this case the album artist. Eew!
The Quote I got was "Somewhere on this globe, every ten seconds, there is a woman giving birth to a child. She must be found and stopped." Ha ha!!
Finally got around to my cover
too bad it gets a bit chopped off on the side there...

Fun challenge - and I got a French band name! How cool is that?
I reckon mine is a cheesy gospel singer.
I plan to do more!
I went through a couple fonts but loved that one hehe
This was harder than I thought but immensely fun! Thank you Marinda for forcing us to think.. I am tempted to do more :)
couldn't decide which i liked better! this challenge was fun!!
this is fun!
