The response to this challenge has been great. I can not wait to see some of these ideas come to life. Tag your pics with "tag-challenge" and I will start judging tomorrow 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Remember they must have been shot within the time frame of the 48 hours.
This is a really fun challenge, a good way to get people out of their comfort zones! Here's my entry, for heart/macro (which, incidentally, is smack in the middle of my comfort zone):
I got outdoor fun. Took my dog to the bark park and this happy exposure mistake is what I got. I forgot to check my exposure setting before I started shooting.
My shot yesterday was a fail:( What I thought was great, was, once I viewed it large on my laptop, substantially lacking in focus. I'm going to give it one more go though....
@pwallis mine is a total fail, but i really did use it for my main album. it probably looks quite out of place there. i love this idea though, @smapp -- keep it going!
