It might glow, but it is still very dim. You need a long exposure (slow shutter speed), high ISO, or both.

I have a p&s and when I took a picture of my glow in the dark nail polish I had to, how do I say this.. "refuel" the paint by holding my nails up to the light. So that may help brighten it up some and I'm also assuming you would need a long exposure time also like jinx said.

You will need to charge the hell out of the paint and then turn the light of and so as Jinx suggested.

You can get the best charge with ultraviolet light. So, either sunlight or a black light bulb.

@ribboncandy42 I took a shot of some glow-in-the-dark stars, first with a flash then very quickly afterwards without it... I got the basic shape and if I had a tripod/more flexibility with my camera I could probably have got more. (Also if it hadn't been past bedtime I might have had more patience!) Good luck!
