Can anyone tell me how to fix the right side of my face where my glasses meet my face and it looks like my face dents? I have Apeture 3 or Photoshop CS4.
I'd use the clone tool (as a photoshop elements user) to 'move' the side of your face across to line up - or get a different prescription of glasses :-)
I find the way that works the best (although a bit fiddly) is to take a photo of the subject with glasses on, without the subject moving their head remove the glasses and take another photo without the glasses on ,then merge the 2 images using layer masks in processing
in Photoshop, use the patch tool. select the area under the glasses where the skin and hair meet (about a 1" height) left-click on the selection, hold and drag until you find a suitable fix.
I have the same problem except that my prescription is far stronger and I tried cloning (all I have is Picnik) and I didn't do it well so I left it....I guess that's what people see anyway
Redone. I copied the area next to my glasses and hair, copied into a new layer. Then I did the transform scale to make sure the area fit, and did transform skew to get the edge right on the curve of the glasses. The patch tool worked somewhat until I got up to the edges by the hair, but I did blend the area I copied with the patch tool.
@foursides Thanks! I have photoshop, for work, but havne't used it since I got out of college, so I'm a bit rusty with it. I was happy with the results though. I might try on the color version as well to see what happens.
