Me and another girl are taking the yearbook photos on Monday. I'm a little nervous as this will be my first time doing specific portrait shots like these. We're going for natural lighting if possible. Any tips/reccomendations to help me out??
How many are you doing? I don't trust natural lighting, traditionally for something like year book you want to keep the lighting the same for everyone. If there are 300 students over the course of the day the lighting will change a lot, something to consider....
have some good jokes and be ready to tell everyone the same thing for a few hours...
back-up the files when you are done... not an easy thing to redo... I would back up my card during the shoot (using eye-fi) but to each their own...
