What advice to make of the Macro? / Quels conseils pour faire de la Macro

March 22nd, 2011
I would try the macro. Without every time it is vague. The development(clarification) is not made and when I make it in manual worker, I do not have enough, it is always vague!

I have a Sigma 18-200 with an EOS 1000D. What do you do recommend me ??

Thanks

Merci

You could try filters or extension tubes - eBay has some really cheap stuff.

Pardonez ma Francais (Franglais!) I like to practice!

(As close as the camera will focus.)

Here is what I'm trying to say:

I have macro filters, but the results are fuzzy with them too. I use my 18-55 lens and 55-200 as well. I get the camera as close to the subject as I can and then crop the picture. The results are OK. I want to try extension tubes as well. I understand they are cheaper than a macro lens, but the results are good. Some are capable of auto focus and others are not. The auto focus ones are more expensive.

I use extension tubes for all of the macro stuff in my albums. You can get ones that have electric connections (Kenkos for example) and that allows you change the aperature of the lens etc. I wouldn't be too worried about auto focus as it is much easier to shot in manual and "rock" back and forth to get the subject in focus.

Good luck!
