I'm wanting to scan & print copies of my wedding photo's but all I have are proof copies that are not that impressive. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest to me how to do this to get the best results possible, should I up the dpi on the scanner or not? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to do it cheap, do it yourself. If you want to do it right, have a reputable, for real, quality lab make negatives from the prints. (in other words, I don't mean Walgreens)
@moncooga thanks for that, I'll have to find out who can do that here. Must admit the photo's really aren't that good but they are all we have & as it such may be worth looking into getting them done that way.
@winshez My thinking is if they are not that good, they can be made better. After all, it is a once in a lifetime event (for some). Make it count. Make a negative, or have them digitally scanned professionally. Then you can do some editing and make them wonderful!

@moncooga you have a very valid point & I'm definately going to look into it.
thank you both for your input :)
