How do you clean your lens???

Just curious about how y'all take care of cleaning your lens....Do you use lens wipes? Do you prefer compressed air? Soft cloths? I basically want to know the safest method for removing dust and smudges................

They sell lens cleaner, and lens cleaning cloths. Check your local photo store, or maybe even a department store. Great accessory to have in your camera bag.

I have a couple of Pentax lens cloths for day to day (dry)cleaning. Great microfibre, washable cloths.
I keep meaning to get some liquid cleaner for those smudges that occasionallly occur, but have never actually done so!

Rocket Air blower and a Lens Pen. Don't use compressed air. You'd be surprised at how easily dust and debris can find it's way into you lens and camera.

i have a marumi uv filter (which is i think the best of the uv filters) on my high end lens -- i clean that with air blower and lens pen and also a lens clothe... i rarely see dust on the lens if i do then i take off the uv filter... the trick with the lens pen and cloth is to make small circular motions clockwise or counter around the lens... the big challenge for me is cleaning my sensor! always gives me a stomach ache when i need to do that...
