Does anyone use GIMP to clear up their blurry photos? I have been trying to figure it out to no avail. I have looked at a few tutorials and they are either for an earlier version, or my photos seem to look the same once I'm done with the directions. I am looking for any guidance. Thanks!
If a photo is blurry there's only so much you can do to fix it. You could try the sharpen tool, and adjust it to whatever degree of sharpness you prefer.
agreed if photos are excessively blurry to start with no amount of sharpening is going to help you will just end up with blurry grainy shots instead of just blurry shots. however there is a decomposition plug in for gimp that may be of use and can be found here http://registry.gimp.org/node/13549
