A friend of mine posted this on his concert photography page (feel free to go Like it - it's his birthday today so I'm sure he'd appreciate it) and I had to share :)
Jealous!! I tried to get good concert photos at Mayhem Fest last year, but they didn't allow "professional" cameras there. Needless to say they didn't come out very well :( (Before everyone starts jumping down my throat, I know you don't need pro cameras to produce pro pictures, but I prefer my Nikon. I am more familiar/comfortable shooting with it)
Your friend has a lot of talent! Thank you for sharing. I am definitely "liking" him! I'm a huge Children of Bodom fan, so that's a plus! He wasn't in the crowd taking those was he? Its hard to concentrate on getting good photos and watching out for the pits at the same time, I would be nervous about breaking equipment.
