i have been listening a lot about color spaces, but its very confusing!
keeping it straight and simple which color space is better for what (like for printing, web) ?
sRGB for the web absolutely. If most of your work is to be posted and viewed on the web, you should work in sRGB and save files in sRGB. This will ensure others see the image as you do. sRGB can also work for printing, but every printer will have different requirements and many do request images in AdobeRGB. So if you do a lot of printing and that's what they use, then it would make sense to work in that space as well.
For me, since 95% of my images just go on the web I work in sRGB and output sRGB. For the images I do send to print I simply convert them to AdobeRGB and tweak the colors a bit if I need to before sending them off to be printed.
@eyebrows *tears glistening in eyes* I'd like to thank God for this honor of being a part of such a wonderful group. And, lastly, I'd like to thank my fans, because without YOU, I would be nothing. I love you all!
