how to use it? if anyone is willing i'd like some hints and tips and some ways to use it, and how to set certain things to achieve certain outcomes, like i played with light and water and still couldn't get a drop, and when i try to take a picture of my horse running across the pasture it blurs, i don't know where any of my settings are to edit things so i'm not sure how to fix anything and i don't understand the technical terms so when i look up things i just get confused! help?
well for your hors try 1 better lighting and 2 sports mode the (little running guy) i have also found when u have 0 zoom u can touch stuff and not know it but i love this camera!
I am not trying to be a smarta** but have you tried reading the owners manual? Usually they are simple to read and break things down for people unfamiliar with the camera.
If your horse blurs, try tracking the horse. Move the camera with the horse and snap a photo. The background will be blurry but the horse should be in focus or close to it. You will have to experiment to get the right shot.
Make sure you are using your flash with the water shots. That will help freeze the drop or splash. Check out @flamez for some amazing water shots. You might have to go back a few in her album but she is more than willing to share (most of) her secrets and has in several descriptions of the photos.
If you see a shot you like on here, click on the exif info hyper link on the right hand side of the photo. It will give you an idea of the camera settings et al. and you can try to mimic them as much as possible for your shots.
thanks guys! shades i would have read the manual but i don't believe one came with the camera when we bought, plus it's my moms and i have no idea what she did with the box! lol would there be one online?
