Are there programs that I can use textures in besides Photo Shop

I LOVE the way photos look after they have been applied a texture...but I know a lot of people that use textures use Photo Shop...I use Photoscape for somethings, but when I have used the textures, it does not look at all like the pictures I have seen on here....any advice??? Help! It's driving me crazy!!

I would recommend that you check out Annie Manning on this site. She not only uses textures, but has also authored the PS actions, and markets them for a very reasonable price. Check it out!

If you can get PS its very easy to add a texture in a layer above the original then fade it out. You can find textures for free in google images
