Even though the Veluwe is a favorite place for Dutch people to spend their holidays, on Christmas the part where I prefer to go, national park Hoge Veluwe, was still quiet. Thanks to the fact you have to pay an entrance fee (I have an annual pass) it's always quiet, especially as soon as you leave the main roads and paths.
