This poor huhu bug was on it's last legs when I found him in the shed. I did rescue him and put him in the garden so he may recover. ....but in the meantime I took a photo of him. I tried to turn him over but he wasn't appreciating that.
We call these 'haircutters' down here and I am not a huge fan - I'm afraid I usually just pick them up carefully by the feelers and chuck them out the window. Ive never thought of doing a portrait. Well done on this portrait.
