Sam in his happy place. by evalieutionspics

Sam in his happy place.

It's been ages since I posted an image. I have had many health issues and have been taking photos here and but haven't been able to get them processed.

I took this one with my phone and liked it so much that I decided to process it in Lightroom. My father-in-law was repairing a chainsaw. He had already finished with two others that had been badly mistreated by our caretaker. He saved us having to buy three new chainsaws! He is a lovely man and I am so fortunate to have him in our lives.

I liked the way the light was hitting him and that he was so focused on his task. The disarray of the workbench and his clothing seemed contrast with his stance.
What a gorgeous story telling image. Fav

I just found this while "browsing" 365. I love it! It so tells a story. I also went to your website and blog. How awesome! You may not be posting regularly now, but I want to know more about your photography company. I "long" to do what you are doing...telling stories with photographs for families to remember.
Thanks for posting! This one is inspiring!

@thewatersphotos I apologize for not responding to your lovely words before now! They were, and still are, so encouraging.

I don't have a photograghy company, just a love for photographing things around me. Have a great time with your camera!
