It has been raining all afternoon, so I was trying to decide what I was going to take a photo of when I saw three birds on the wall across the street. They were gone when I got back with my camera, but I saw that the rain was falling pretty steadily on the table on the veranda, so I decided to try for some drops. I liked this one the best so decided to try my hand at split tone after @amyk tried her hand at it the other day. I quite like the effect it had on the image. I have put the original in my other album if you are interested in seeing the difference. It is a subtle change.
I need to read up about split tones. (Next on my list for 52 weeks project) whatever you did, I do think the change makes a positive difference in livening up the image. Super water drop.
