Yesterday we travelled from New Plymouth to Masterton. This was taken from the car window (quick snap at 100 k!) The clouds were looking so heavy with rain - and sure enough it wasn't far down the road before it was pouring. I was taken by the light on the hills compared with the lowering clouds.
That is a wonderful view! We have been looking at rain and or rain clouds for 2 weeks. Today we've gotten 35mm so far with heavy showers predicted this evening.

But have had some lovely days in between! @joysfocus Thank you. @maggiemae No they certainly are not brown! Down in the Wairarapa they are normally quite dry by now, but there is lots of grass at the moment. @taffy@jerome Thank you @dawnee Yes - a lot of rain in those clouds!

@maggiemae No they certainly are not brown! Down in the Wairarapa they are normally quite dry by now, but there is lots of grass at the moment.
