Today my son and his partner started tramping the Routeburn Track. I went with them to drop them off and will be picking them up near Milford Sound on Tuesday. We started off this morning to the sight of fresh snow on the mountains. I took this photo on the way back to Queenstown from Glenorchy. A little bit of sun was breaking through and creating a rainbow.
@kali66 I think it is meant to get even colder next week, but that is what seems to happen, the cold snaps come and go! In a couple of weeks it might feel like summer again!!
