On Tuesday I visited the Kiwi Birdlife Park in Queenstown. Keas would have to be one of my favourite birds. The world's only alpine parrot and such a cheeky bird. They say they have the intelligence of a four year old child. One kea was very inquisitive about my camera bag and actually opened the zip a bit using his beak. He pulled a bit of rubber off from somewhere and I had to make sure I got it out of his enclosure so he didn't chew and swallow it.
