Magnolia

I didn't take any photos on the 19th - the day I flew home. Although I was wishing I wasn't in an aisle seat on the plane flying from Queenstown to Christchurch. The view of the mountains with the soft pink of the early morning was simply glorious. This photo I took yesterday - of a pale yellow magnolia in my garden.

Beautiful shot! Your magnolias look slightly different from the ones in southern U.S.

@eudora - we have a huge number of varieties of magnolias in our region - Taranaki, New Zealand. There was someone here for many years who specialised in developing new varieties and he developed some beauties.
