Lupins on the Arrow River

It is the beginning of the lupin season in Central Otago. We visited Arrowtown yesterday, then drove a wee way up the Macetown Road, crossing the Arrow River in a few places.

@yaorenliu they aren't NZ native so in quite a few places DOC is getting rid of them, but so many visitors go to the region just to see the lupins that they are leaving them in some areas. They really are beautiful, especially when there are a lot together.
