Peeping through by dkbarnett

Peeping through

I went for a quick walk around sunset yesterday. This is a double exposure in camera. The first is a rather beautiful women's face on a billboard. This I overlaid with a pretty hibiscus flowering on the street. A bit of a juxtaposition, but I quite liked the effect.
beautifully done.

It's a lovely composite. I'm interested in how this works in your camera. Can you see the first image while you are composing the second - or do you have to keep an image of it in your head?

very effective, if not a pretty lady, it could be creepy.

By the way, you may missed my question, is your bug app inaturalist? I need an app to help my identify the bugs.I found inaturalist very hard to use.

@yaorenliu Sorry I missed your question. My bug app is called 'Picture Insect'. It is very easy to use. Not sure it is 100% accurate but I am pretty happy with it.

Delicate colors. I had to really look for the face.

@robz Yes you can see the first image and it is relatively easy to line the images up. You are never quite sure how it will turn out though. The only time it is difficult is when doing the Ventosa in the round technique because after a few photos in the same image it starts getting difficult to line the scene up. It's a really fun technique to do. I still need to master the different types of double exposure though light, dark and average.

@rickster549 You will have a lot of fun if you do start trying double exposure. I really enjoy it.

@dkbarnett Thanks for the info Delwyn - it's really interesting. I'll check my camera - but not very hopeful that it can do this. :)

This is really nicely done with such a lovely result! I love the subtlety of the image… you really have to LOOK to see it!
