Len Lye Centre by dkbarnett

Len Lye Centre

For the get pushed challenge 511, Jim R @jnr challenged me to do an architectural shot. This building was designed by architect Andrew Patterson. The facade is made of stainless steel and the design was deeply influenced by the life and works of artist Len Lye. I also like the way the reflective surface is giving glimpses of surrounding buildings - including on the left the New Plymouth clock tower.
@jnr - here is my response to your get pushed challenge this week.

Wow, never would have thought that they would have made the buildings like that. Great capture.

@dkbarnett wow! A great shot. By the way, I am having trouble doing your challenge. It has rained every day this week so i have had trouble getting out. I know the shot i want and will do it even if it is after the challenge.
