Laura challenged me to depict 'movement' for my get pushed challenge this week. This afternoon my son in law was taking his wee girl for a spin around our property on the Rewaco trike, so I decided to capture this for movement. I used relatively low shutter speed to create a panning movement. Then in photoshop I added a bit of movement blur to the rear of the trike to enhance this sense of movement.
@mirroroflife - Well I cheated a little!! I panned to get the blurred background, but then in photoshop I put in some motion blur then did a mask with the gradient tool so only the back end was blurred. I thought this might give the impression of more speed!!
