Old man on a bike

I felt so sorry for this poor old guy. We had watched him on his bike. He was stopped just sitting on his bike for about 5 minutes, as if he was concentrating just to be able to climb off. He then stood here like this for another 5 minutes contemplating the slight rise in the pavement as if it was completely beyond him. One of the chaps in our group finally helped him push his bike up the little rise. I don't know how ever he was going to get home - if in fact he even had one!

Another compelling photo. The movement of the motor bile emphasizes the man's inertia. I hope he has a home and family somewhere....
