Hotel Emma by dkellogg

Hotel Emma

The Hotel Emma building was originally the headquarters for Pearl Brewery in San Antonio. The building was repurposed about 10 years ago and recently earned the award Michelin Key.
Wow! It looks grand! I recently tried another Texas brewed beer the other day and loved it. I asked for an AmberBock but they didn't have any and brought me a Shiner Bock. It has a slightly sweet after taste but I thought it was a little better than AmberBock. =)

Nice to see lovely old buildings like this repurposed instead of being torn down.

We seem to have it going the other way where many old character buildings become micro breweries. It must be a fine hotel...great capture
