2015 June 18: This evening when the sweltering heat lessened, I went outdoors to take some photos of a pretty bloom on one of my calla lilies ...In looking closer, I noticed this cute little firefly (aka, lightning bug) perched ready for his photo shoot.
He's quite the little poser isn't he? We have so many lightening bugs this year. Our back woods like a fire works display at night!! I love sitting on our back steps and just watching them...when it's not sweltering!!! I tried growing some of these flowers but as soon as they popped up, the deer ate them!! So I will just enjoy yours instead!! Really a pretty color!! FAV!
