Snow Day by dsp2

Snow Day

2018.01.12 Friday: Temperatures steadily fell throughout the day from a starting high of 62 degrees F. in the morning to a low of 24 degrees F. in the night. We enjoyed watching a couple of times of snow flurries during the day, but this was the extent of our accumulation. We are blessed that we got to enjoy the beauty of falling snow while our roads stayed clear!
Well you chose a good corner to display the snow! I daresay it is really cold there!

You have such a different perspective of snow! It's nice that you can appreciate the beauty of a snowfall whereas most of us here are bemoaning having to clear the driveway and sidewalk once again. We had 3 different layers of storm yesterday, a layer of ice, a layer of wet snow, a layer of blowing powder. It was difficult to clear things this morning.

Very pretty! I just love the snow! I just came in from outside...poked around out there for a while with my camera. We got about six inches of snow overnight, and it was so exciting to wake up to the beautiful blanket of white! Thanks for sharing your snowfall...I'm glad you enjoyed it!

You show the beauty of the snow. Terrific shot. We had much the same temperatures in NY but ice, then heavy snow. We ended up with about a foot of snow. Makes for fun pictures though.

Jo
We had the same temperatures going on and luckily only had some flurries today - all of snow melted with the warmth and no accumulation today was good even though the cold is back. Glad you were able to enjoy the snowfall - great capture.
