Autumn berries by dulciknit

Autumn berries

Thank you so much for all your kindness, and for bearing with the erratic posting I've been doing to catch up with holiday shots.
This is a Herringbone Cotoneaster, or Cotoneaster Horizontalis to give it its botanical name. I hope this photo conveys some sense of the Horizontalis because, once it grows upwards a bit and props itself against a wall, it does grow along as well as up. It's a semi-evergreen and those leaves will eventually turn red.
This one self-seeded in a redundant pot (with help from a bird, at a guess) at the front of our house.
Gorgeous shot.... such a wonderful autumnal image!
