Strange sunlight

Lester is busy refurbishing a melodeon at the moment so I went to Marsworth for a little while this afternoon. It was very cold and blustery and this dark cloud blew in after a while, making the sunlight on the trees look quite unreal but pleasingly dramatic.
I left hurriedly when the first drops of rain fell!

It's actually the best time in a narrowboat. They are well insulated and with the woodburning stove going full blast it is so snug. This is so nostalgic! Lovely pic!

I love that watery glow of sunshine at an angle under clouds. It is so wonderful - great shot.
